light cloud installment

Here's the shed space.. And the rudimentary beginning

I started by painting the room white. Touched up the walls and did the whole ceiling.
Then set up some sticks for structure.. Also to get an idea of the shape I wanted.
I liked it at this stage. It's also fun to employ natural nest-making instincts.

Followed by chicken wire exterior and threading lights through.
 I love these lightbulbs.

I felt like I was making a nest from the outside in..
 Last, sheer white coverup...
And it's ready to rock. Finished photos & video HERE..
Also. Here's Chelsea being cute, like everything else in her installation. I'm excited to see it finished..

Point Dume is populated with a lot of these diving birds who live on the cliffs. When I've gone hiking there always seems to be a few carcasses. I don't know if they've died of natural causes, because there is a lot of litter around and also spots of oil. Anyway, it turned out to be worth it taking this home and smelling up the house by boiling it..
They have a really beautiful design.
