Red's Home

I thought, "what would a Southwestern Mont St. Michel look like?" I was also clearly inspired by Sedona, Arizona... Both of these places I've been to in person. I hope to continue to consciously incorporate some of the amazing things I've seen by traveling. Before I had never conceived of a desert where it snowed on red sandstone and prickly pear, or a monolithic castle-like monastery on an island surrounded by shallow sea. These places actually exist. It's amazing.
This is one of my favorite old photos from a trip to Sedona (2006)
